a-poem-a-day challenge for the month of April
At one end
the audacity
of the kite flier
on the windswept green.
determined to make of an
impediment
a joy.
At the other
the plunging body of
the kite.
indifferent to sky
and ground.
beholden to
no one.
Wow, this is so good. I love the juxtaposition of the two kites and how each claims the sky in its own way.
this is a beautiful intentional poem, every word of it is perfectly placed
