Bengali Translation of Edward Lear's Limerick: There was an old man with a beard

 

এক যে ছিলো বুড়ো, মুখটা ঢাকা লম্বা দাড়ির বনে

বলল হেঁকে, "ঠিক এই ভয়টাই ছিল আমার মনে!

একটা মুরগি, পেঁচা খান দুই,

চারটে চাতক, একটা চড়ুই

আমার দাড়িতে বাসা বেঁধেছে কেন যে কে জানে।"
