The Pond

Cold, wet leaves
Floating on moss-coloured water
And the croaking of frogs—
Cracked bell-notes in the twilight.

ডোবা

ঠাণ্ডা, ভেজা ভেজা পাতা

শ্যাওলা রঙের জলের ওপর ভেসে আছে

আর ব্যাঙগুলোর নিরলস গ্যাঙর গ্যাং -

ফাটা ঘণ্টার শব্দে গোধূলির আলো নামে।
