Time and the body

As white overruled black

thick thinned, thin thickened

smooth grew grooved

cross hatch shadowed

words blurred

misheard, misread

fall on death ears

The brain of my existence

handwringing on the wall

my constellation prize --

Good radiance!

I tuned a blind eye.

  1. Wow, Gitanjali, what a poetic feat! "The brain of my existence /
handwringing on the wall / my constellation prize -- /Good radiance! / I tuned a blind eye." I am in awe.
